One-Off Classes

Our one-off classes are a great introduction to wheel throwing and hand-building for those completely new to it or coming back after some time. Sessions are led by talented artists, creatives, and ceramists, designed to bring people together across diverse disciplines and backgrounds. Grounded in place, these programs provide accessible, engaging experiences that connect with and reflect the local community.

We offer Intro to Wheel Throwing, where you'll learn the basics of making simple bowls, plates, and cups, as well as special topic handbuilding classes like Tea & Cup, Bento Box, Lidded Jars, and many other curated one-time experiences. Our classes offer a unique experience for anyone looking for a friend date, a solo activity, or something to share with a loved one.

Our one-offs are also a great opportunity to see if ceramics is right for you — perfect for those interested in learning about the craft but who can't commit to a multi-week course.

For our Intro to Wheel classes, participants keep 1 item, and for hand-building classes, participants can keep up to 2 pieces. Any additional piece is $15. Firing is included, and pieces are available for pickup after 4 weeks.
