Our multi-week ceramic courses offer a structured path to develop technical skills while nurturing creative expression. Introductory courses guide students through the full ceramic process, from wedging and wheel throwing to handbuilding, trimming, and glazing, helping to establish strong foundational skills.

Intermediate and advanced courses build on these foundations, introducing more complex techniques, exploring new forms, and providing opportunities to refine style and expand creative practice. Students of all levels gain hands-on experience and individualized guidance to grow both their skills and artistic confidence.

Our one-off and multi-week curated workshops are led by talented artists, creatives, and ceramists, and are designed to bring people together across diverse disciplines and backgrounds. Grounded in place, these programs provide accessible, engaging experiences that connect with and reflect the local community.

Wheel Throwing Courses

Explore the fundamentals and beyond in our wheel throwing course, open to beginner, intermediate, and open-level students. Newcomers will build a strong foundation in core techniques—wedging, centering, pulling, and trimming—while returning students can refine their skills and push their work in new creative directions. Together, students will create functional forms such as cylinders, cups, and bowls, with instruction in glazing tailored to each student's experience level.

Handbuilding Courses

Explore the fundamentals and beyond in our handbuilding course, open to beginner, intermediate, and open-level students. Newcomers will build a strong foundation in core techniques—pinching, coiling, slab building, and use of the extruder—while returning students can refine their skills and push their work in new creative directions. Together, students will create functional and sculptural ceramic forms, with instruction in glazing and surface decoration tailored to each student's experience level.
